These Terms & Conditions are fully endorsed and exercisable by all staff, in the absence of the Directors, Management & Licensee of Lake George Winery.






After you have met with our Function Coordinator and a quote has been provided to you based on your requirements, your booking will be held as a tentative booking for 14 days. A quote constitutes of a booking fee of $1,000 and a deposit of $500 along with a signed booking form which also needs to include a credit card number - required to secure your date. 



Final numbers for your event are required 14 working days prior to the event. Any cancellations after this time cannot be refunded. Please ensure you inform the Function Coordinator of any special dietary requirements. Should the total number of guests increase from the number confirmed within 7 days before the event, we cannot guarantee the full catering beverage and site services can be offered.



The Lake George Winery has a minimum spend policy of $5000 this is only calculated on the food account.



An additional deposit of 50% of your total invoice is required one month prior to your event. A valid credit card or cash will be required to cover the additional expenses thay may be incurred through a consumption beverage package or through breakages. Payments can be made by direct debit, cash or credit card. There is a surcharge for credit card transactions 1% for Visa and Mastercard transactions. ABN 46 745 840 828



Quotes are valid for 2 weeks from the date of the quotation unless otherwise specified. All prices are based on current costs and are subject to change without notice to meet increases as they arise.



Lake George Winery takes no responsibility for lost or missing items. It is your responsibility to reimburse the cost or repair or replacement to any broken or damaged goods or damage to premises. No item should be adhered to the wall using any method, including BluTack, pins, and/or sticky tape. If there is any theft of goods from the property by any of the guests the function holders will be held accountable for the theft and will be charged for the replacement of the goods or equipment.



Lake George Winery is a working winery. Due to licensing restrictions, BYO spirits and beverages are not permitted, and alcohol must NOT be brought onto the premises.



Lake George Winery reserves the right under the Responsible Service of Alcohol guidelines, to refuse the service of alcohol to drunk and disorderly persons, and they will be asked to leave the property if any issues arise.



Lake George Winery has ample parking that is free of charge. We encourage safe and responsible driving to all visitors. We accept no responsibility for damage, loss or theft of, or from, vehicles left on the premises, either during an event, or at any other time.



Lake George Winery is closed for Christmas Day, New Years Eve, New Years Day, and Good Friday. There is a surcharge of 20% on any event held on Sundays and NSW & ACT Public Holidays.



Children over 12 will be charged at adult rate. Children's meals are available on request in advance and will incur a $30 per child fee. Six highchairs are available on request and children must be supervised at all times.



Goods may be delivered to Lake George Winery with prior arrangement. Each carton or item is to be labelled with the event name and event date. After an event has concluded, goods can be stored for 24 hours with prior arrangement. Lake George Winery will not be held liable for loss or damage of these goods.



In the unfortunate event that a confirmed function must be cancelled by the client, the following will apply:

  • Cancelled within 14 days - No refund will be given

  • Cancelled 15-30 days - We will hold 25% of the total invoice

  • Cancelled within 31-60 days - Initial deposit of $1000 will not be refunded

  • Cancelled outside of 60 days - Full refund of any monies paid

Lake George Winery reserves the right to cancel any function at their discretion.
